The OPM workstation for spring boxes for shutters is designed to produce spring boxes in various diameters. These include sizes 220×60 and 240×76 to meet different customer needs.
This workstation complies with CE regulations. It consists of hydraulic control units and hydraulic stations dedicated to manufacturing spring boxes for shutters. Each unit handles specific processing steps. The workstation also includes assembly units, fastening units, and a work unit with an interchangeable mold for drilling holes in the disc.
Production starts with a metal strip already cut to size. The material, sheet metal, passes through several hydraulic units, each performing the required processing. After treatment, the spring box is assembled at the assembly bench.
Operators activate each processing step using foot pedals. Once the spring box is assembled, the production of the protective cover begins. After drilling holes in the disc, work units drill holes in the metal strip. A dedicated electric machine shapes the protective cover into a circular form. The sheet metal cover is then screwed onto the box mounted on the shaft.
As an option, you can add an electric rolling machine. This machine shapes the metal strip into a circular form if needed. Two hydraulic units speed up the process by allowing simultaneous work on production and fastening units.
The workstation includes a centralized electrical panel for easy management of all electrical peripherals. This setup simplifies maintenance and diagnostics. Additionally, the machine features an emergency stop button to halt production in case of faults. Active and passive safety devices protect the operator during work and ensure CE compliance.
