Automatic machine to produce round and square rainwater pipe clamps.
The plant is composed by two machines that realize both parts of the , producing the final product.
The OPM automatic machine is designed for the production of clamps for rainwater downpipes, available in the following diameters: Ø60, Ø80, Ø100, and Ø120. The clamps are made of two parts, which are assembled to create the finished product. The system includes two synchronized machines working together to produce both parts of the clamps. The production capacity is 12 clamps per minute.
The system is CE compliant and consists of two hydraulic power units, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, drilling, threading, jointing, nut insertion, cutting, and shaping units, electrical system, motorized straightener and ejectors, along with two PLCs with dedicated software for managing and optimizing the production process.
The system operates with two synchronized machines: a master machine, which controls the production and produces one half of the clamps including the nut, and a slave machine, which replicates the production of the other half of rainwater pipe clamps.
Both machines are powered by a motorized unwinder and work from coil.
The strip, loaded onto the motorized unwinder with clutch and inverter, passes through a straightener and a compact electronic feeder, ensuring precision and speed. The strip then moves through the drilling, threading, jointing, nut insertion, cutting, and shaping units. The final clamp is ejected and collected in a motorized container, monitored by photocells and sensors to ensure correct ejection.
The system works in synchronized mode, guaranteeing uniform production and an equal number of complementary components of clamps. Sensors and photocells monitor the entire process to ensure optimal execution.
The PLCs manage the entire process, optimizing production and ensuring system safety. The type and quantity of clamps can be set directly on the PLC. Additionally, with optional software (Industry 4.0), production data can be monitored in real time from your computer.
The control system stores all the information needed to set the machine based on the desired mold, making setup quick and easy. The system also features an easily accessible emergency stop button, allowing immediate production shutdown in case of need.
The system is equipped with active and passive safety measures that ensure operator protection during production, certifying CE compliance and making the machine eligible for the benefits provided by Italian and European regulations.
