The OPM Robotized Welding Pant r is designed to automatize welding.
The CE-compliant island consists of a Fronius pulsed welder and a Yaskawa robot with a dedicated welding torch, a work cell with perimeter guards and safety photocells, dedicated software to optimise and manage processing, an electrical system, a welding bench with motorised rotation, and a welding protection screen.
The system consists of two independent cells with rotating lathes, and the robot acts as a pendulum to weld from one cell to the other.
While the robot is welding on one side, the operator can mount the parts to be welded on the jig on the other side.

From the feasibility study, machining is carried out as follows:
the lattice girder to be machined is positioned by the operator on the motorised tilting bench; specifically, it is placed on a special jig equipped with a quick clamping system that allows the operator to clamp the lattice girder quickly and easily.
In addition, the island incorporates a protection screen to protect the operator from welding. There are also safety photocells within the system. The active and passive safeties protect the operator during processing, certifying the machine CE safe to access the benefits of Italian and European law.
The specially created electrical panel allows centralisation of all electrical peripherals by concentrating the power and control units in a single dedicated cabinet. This allows easy maintenance and immediate diagnostics in case of technical intervention.
