The machine, with its compact form, is designed for long slot drilling of the slat to ensure the passage of air and light in the finished product when the shutter is not completely closed.
The machine is equipped with a hydraulic system to ensure superior drilling quality, and is electrically controlled with brushless motors allowing a working speed of 37m/min. Processing management is done through a PLC on which the slot optimization algorithm is implemented. With just the input of the slat length, it calculates the best solution that maximizes the perforated area without compromising the solidity of the slat itself. The PLC also provides a real-time graphical simulation of the type of perforation to be performed.
In a few seconds, the perforations are made on the slat, which is automatically ejected so that the machine is ready for the next processing. An optional accessory to accompany the machine to further speed up and automate it is the possibility of having the slat loader and unloader. The loader receives the bars cut to size from the pack and stacks them in the same way they arrive. This allows for direct cutting from the pack. The 6m loader selects them one by one and feeds them into the machine. This further automates the workflow, freeing the operator from manual labor.
