Automatic plant/machine for drilling on aluminium strip.
The OPM automatic machine is designed to produce microperforations on aluminium strip.
The machine, which complies with CE regulations, consists of an electro-welded carpentry base, pneumatic system, brakes, soundproofing system, feeding system, strip straightener, swarf tray, electric panel for easy maintenance and immediate diagnosis, punching system, die for making holes, ground and heat-treated, lubrication system, 16kW electric motor.
The working process is as follows
the strip is inserted into the machine and, at the push of a button, the work starts automatically: the strip is passed through a straightener, a roller system advances the strip and the punching system performs the processing. The die can be changed to other geometries, a simple action that requires no special skills. Once machining has started, the machine runs continuously.
The machine incorporates a specially designed electrical cabinet that centralises all electrical peripherals, concentrating power and control units in one dedicated cabinet. This allows easy maintenance and immediate diagnosis in the event of a malfunction.
If necessary, an optional shear can be purchased to cut the belt as soon as it is microperforated.
As an additional option, necessary for the job, it is possible to purchase a self-contained motorised unwinder with a maximum power of 2 tonnes, equipped with a clutch and inverter for automatic web control and unwinding speed regulation.
The machine is equipped with an emergency button to stop production at any time.
